Tuna Salad Sandwich

Ingredients

360 mL Tuna Salad Filling

12 Whole Wheat Slice Bread

30 mL Margarine

Tuna Salad Filling

360g Tuna Chunk Light Fish In Water

42 mL Mayonnaise

Directions

1Prepare tuna salad as per regular recipe, cover and hold

2Arrange required amount of sliced bread on a clean and sanitized work surface

3Spread 5mL of margarine on face of half of the slices of bread

4Place #16 scoop of tuna on half of slices of bread

5Place other half of slices of bread on top

6Cut sandwiches as required and portion to serving pans

7Cover and hold for service <40 F (4 C) for a maximum of 2 hours Discard any remaining product after service

Tuna Salad Filling

1Clean and wash tops of cans

2Drain tuna, and discard liquid Place tuna in a bowl, flake it, the combine with mayonnaise and mix until fully incorporated

3Place in non-metallic, resalable container, cover, label and date.

4Seal and hold for service <40 F (4 C) for a maximum of 2 days Discard any remaining product after this time
