This is a refreshing tea based drink that is both healthy and delicious. Green tea and ripe watermelon come together to make something wonderful on a hot summer day and is alcohol free.
Yields: 4 Servings
1-1/2 cups green tea, brewed and chilled
4 cups watermelon, cubed and chilled
½ Tbsp fresh lemon juice (lime can be used as well)
Lemon or lime slices for garnish
1The day before, brew green tea and chill.
2Once the tea is chilled, add it to a blender. Add the chilled watermelon and the lemon or lime juice.
3Blend on high until mixture is smooth.
4Pour into chilled glasses and garnish with lemon or lime slices.
