A flavourful chicken recipe that has Asian flavours that get sticky as you cook it
Yields: 4 Servings
Ingredients
¾ cup hoisin sauce
3 green onions chopped
5 cloves garlic minced
2 inch piece of fresh ginger grated
1 jalapeno halved and de-seeded
Zest and juice of 2 limes
2 Tbsp seasoned rice vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste
12 chicken thighs
Directions
1Place all ingredients (except chicken) in a food processor and blend until well combined.
2Add chicken to a zip lock bag and add enough sauce to coat the chicken. Marinate for ½ hour in the fridge. Save some sauce for basting or sauce can be heated and served warm over chicken.
3Grill chicken until cooked through. Can be served with rice or a cool cucumber salad.
